Ray, This is a cool sound! It all sounds excellent! All the extra bits you referred to are certainly more than that statement implies! Your vocalist did a great job, but at the same time I could imagine you doing a fine job singing this! That guitar with the trem effect really makes this click! I can't hear anything I would want to change! Thanks, TB Thanks Torrey, I learned an huge amount listening to & then collaborating with you.

Sounds good! I agree - Terry's understated vocal works very nicely here. Phanque Mr. Cuny. All of the original Pygmy Beat stuff was based on his art of the understatement.

This is AWESOME! TRULY! We already loved the lyric but, Ray, the video is perfecto. What apt video clips to represent the state of things and Terry’s facial expressions are so good! Love the scene of him with the children and their aluminum foil caps. Now we understand why you wanted his vocal for this one as it is a perfect match. You’re on a roll! Congrats! J&B You're very kind. Yes, Terry's vocal brought it together.

Ray, put this one in the can as it is finished and absolutely fantastic. All of the improvements that you did made this a masterpiece. Loved it. Cheers Mario, Sealed in the tin as you suggest.

Hi Ray, [quote=Birchwood] ... And I think Floyd expressed all I wanted to say, but with fewer words (and nothing on the lyrics...) Hans
Lyrics have been posted for you sir. Yep, Terry did a grand job. He lives in a part of NSW called Lithgow - it high up, far out from the cities, very cold & windy when it isn't very hot and windy. Winter in his part of the world is COLD by Australian standards. Thanks you. Thanks for adding the lyrics and your answer. They are even better than I could understand. Maybe it's that frigid environment Terry lives in that made him sing with clenched jaws... Hans

Your music is so unique. Like that proverbial box of chocolates Forrest Gump referred too.... you never know what you're going to get when you listen to one of your songs. There is one thing for certain however, it is not going to be a run of the mill formulaic song. Of that, one can be certain.
This didn't disappoint in that aspect. Chord changes that no one would see coming or expect. I like the story line too.... kinda fits nicely with what we see going on.
Good job
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Strong dark lyrics, "the age of entitlement/eclipsed the age of enlightenment ... it comes - to this", so true. I enjoyed the unique chord progression, couldn't think of any other songs it could resemble, only distant thought of Terry Hall's work. Good work with the arrangement, the baritone guitar adds David Lynch type of mystery and strings very delicious spice. Just wondering what spaghetti refers to in the title, my initial thought was The Flying Spaghetti Monster Janne

Ray, This was awesome! Really neat collaboration. Vivid message & musically delicious. A+ spaghetti guitar and bass playing. I thought guitar was RT, but after reading notes I got that it's your single coil guitar with FX. Terry was a perfect choice. His vocals, mimics, gestures, all super. Too bad you don't have Stefan's closet... Would be fun to dress up Terry in conductor's tuxedo. No complaints on the mix. Took 3 listens to fully appreciate it Cool video. Really good one! Thank you for sharing. Misha.

Good job Thanks you...my trick is to open the box, suck the chocolate off each one and put the flavour centres back in place.
