Floating in Space

You and your crew are exploring strange new worlds and going places where no one has gone before. All is fine as stars, planets, nebulae, and black holes pass by leaving an echo in your wake. You are cruising at Spinal Tap Warp 11. Suddenly you enter unexplored deep space and an eerie feeling comes over you and your crew, like someone is watching you, Is it really happening or just a weird felling? Are they in danger.? Will your spaceship and crew survive? Or are they doomed? I don't know, I write the music not the screenplay!

David Snyder inspired my with his last song featuring the Synthmaster 2 VSTi. While conversing via email with David I said that I would like to try something like that but I wouldn't want to step on his toes. He said no problem just do it. So I did! Thanx David!

BiaB style = Pat M 2 - Ambient Latin
Tempo = 50 BPM

I deleted the drums
Bass - Synthmaster 2 - preset - B5 Mini Korg Hollow RL
Utility track - Synthmaster 2 - preset - Pad Summer AZ
Strings - EastWest Symphonic Choir - preset - Full Choir
Piano - Synthmaster One - preset - Black Celebration BT

I am playing my el-cheapo $69 Kramer Focus 111S strat in my Stompboard VST amp simulator set in clean 1 mode. I am also playing via my keyboard controller the Theremin.

As always all comments are welcomed.

Nice vibe with this, Mario, the synth with the guitar on top work really well together.

"cruising at Spinal Tap Warp 11", LOL! I love that movie, need to watch it again soon I think.

It sounds like a movie soundtrack. I closed my eyes and I just drifted out into the Galaxy. I think you tapped into the frequencies of the universe.
Nice mix and production.

Cinematic, ethereal, spooky, epic, thought provoking and more and more.

You are literally all over the map genre wise this year and pulling it off exceptionally well.

Excellent performances.

Kudos!

Thanx J&B. Playing a wedding bands for many years has exposed me to many genres of music. I'm just experimenting trying to expand that knowledge.

Hi, Mario.

Ha! Even having some clue what was coming, I wasn't expecting that.

It's cool to hear people doing interesting stuff on this board.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Great experiment, Mario! You left your comfort zone right into a new comfort zone with the synth. Loved the guitar fills in this spooky creation.

Thanx so much Dewey. I wouldn't say that I am comfortable in the synth-zone yet. I have a long way to go before I am comfortable.

Mario,
Pretty cool soundscape you have painted. Deep meditational tones. I think what might be cool if some ethnic rhythm is added. Something like sparse Udu drum or even jaw harp smile Thank you for sharing.

Very cool. The only thing I'd offer is that the guitar is aggressive on its attack...maybe a super fast compressor is needed to push down the attack and the release to allow the note to sound through.

Cheers
