Hi All,

Here's another new one. This is called I FALL.

When the day unfolds
Morning’s in town
Her eyes are like diamonds
Shining down

She is near
She is near to me
Her hair it tumbles
The world is small
And I fall

I will live
I will live
Wherever she is
I will live

And everything is new again
Nothing in the past
Wherever she looks
She sees it all
And I fall

For her days
For her nights
For her years
For her love
I will crawl
I will fall

I can see her love light
I can see her love light

Her hair it tumbles
The world is small
And I fall
And I fall

For her days
For her nights
For her years
For her love
I will crawl
I will fall
I fall
I fall
I fall

Nicely done Bob.
Interesting lyrics as we have come to expect from you and fitting instrument choice.
Maybe the vocal could come up a couple of dbs.

Bob,

Loved! listening to that!

Your writing style (lyrics) and vocal work well with this "modern" treatment.
And a fine treatment it is! Cool choices for tracks. The combination of synth pads and 2-note guitar is a great choice. Drum choices work, too.
The nice thing about this is it "sounds modern" (I'm getting to where I hate hearing that phrase again) without "trying". It just IS.
Excellent job creating this. I'd call this a HUGE success.

A REALLY cool arrangement/choice of RTs Bob.
They contrast & highlight your vocal tracks.
Cool. Reminds me of Susan Vega in some ways.

Well, that's different in the best sort of way. smile

Dark and brooding arrangement, cool percussion, great vocal. Crunchy and synthy. Nice build, too.

I like it!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Vic,

Thanks - much appreciate the listen and comment. For this type of instrumentation / production I prefer the vocal to be a bit "tucked in".

Man, I really look forward to what you post, Bob. Never disappointed. I like how you surround your unique voice with the sounds and instruments you chose. The synth bass is a great choice for this hypnotic song.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Unexpected but welcome style change from you. What a great arrangement, excellent selection of BIAB instruments, I really like that 4009 guitar and the combination of the drum tracks. Really engaging dark mood is a perfect fit for the deep love expressed in the lyrics. Kind of funny contrast to your lighter arrangements that have more melancholy story. Vocal track is full of intimate passion. Maybe your best so far.

Different in a very good way.
Cool arrangement choices, and your vocals have the perfect haunting quality for the song.
Reminds me a bit of The Cure.

Bob,
Very cool opening! Really like almost ascetic arrangement & lyrics. Vocals A+. I think you should do more experimental tunes like this. Enjoyed it and thank you for sharing.
