Inner Sanctum

Proceed with warning, this instrumental may not appeal to some.

You are in a very private special place. You get really scared and nervous when evil tries to take over your mind and body. But then you calm down when good takes over. Back and forth you go. Which will win? You have to listen to find out!

BiaB style = Planet Ambient Space Ballad
Tempo = 50 BPM

I deleted the bass and drums
Piano = FM8 - Preset Bells 3
Guitar = Phoenix - Mirage - preset Warm Key
Strings = Synthmaster one - preset Pad choir Oooh MR
Utility = Synthmaster 2 - preset PAD More Strings FN

Me - P-Bass - Amplitube - preset Solid State Bass Preamp with
Chorus added
Guitar - Xaviere Pro 900 - Amplitube - preset 51 Heavy Phase
Via my keyboard controller - EastWest Symphonic Choir - preset full choir

As always all comments are welcomed.

Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

Mario,

Love this... Beautiful and mysterious.

The bass and guitar sound great. Very cool guitar effects.

The mix, as always, is excellent.

Thanks for the warning, friend. I would've been lost and scared, but the bass held the hand of my mind and guided me onward in spite of my ignorance of the outcome. It kept me brave, and helped me see the beauty surrounding the danger, realizing that fear is an illusion in this realm. Love your style, Mario.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Guitar as serious evil doer.
Bells of light.
Choir as definers of space.
Very nice Mario.

That is a great description of a fascinating composition. It would be very difficult to add to that ... but we'll try.

Cinematic in spades. Great arrangement, performances and mix.

Sublime spookiness if you will!

Enjoyed it,

J&B

The maestro strikes again!

Your composition is wrought with unresolved tension (until 3:22)---a haunting, suspenseful, and hypnotic mood. Very engaging.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Good stuff, Mario!

I like how the bass keeps everything anchored. Cool stuff happening with the choir and the bells, and of course I like the guitar work too.

Very creative!

Musically very clever, I really love how the bass rules the darkness of the tune, frighteningly gently, reminding me of Death as the bassist in Bill & Ted movies. First the choir sounds like the bad guy, but in the end it leads you to the heavenly bliss. Excellent arrangement, every instrument has an important role in this play of emotions. I enjoyed this vivid and colorful journey.
