Good song, Hans, bass intro really works well. Great groove!
Guitar solo works well, as do the horns. And of course the vocal is top notch.
One of your best I think, well done.

What a fun song. Nothing more fun to play than a minor blues IMHO, and it sounds like you were having fun. Nice instrument choices. Even the trumpet loops slide right in. A keeper!

Very groovy, gets my feet moving all the time.
It has a nice Latin touch with the rumba RealTracks, a combination that works really well.
Well done, Hans!

Hi Misha,

Now I'm late too!
it seems I'm always running out of time.
But I have an excuse... I am working on several projects, probably like you, but my energy is still low since certain medical things happened.
So I have a too short time for all the things I want to do, including the forum.
But having said that, I have to thank you for your lovely post.
I almost want to ad 'Wow' in my answer, because you never were so positive!
I hope I can add more songs you will consider being 'one of my best of this year'. Thanks!

Super vocals and excellent mix (!) To my taste one of your top tunes this year. Listens very well, and thank you for sharing.

Misha.

Hi Dave,

I always think of you when I add solo guitar sounds to my songs.
Don't know why, but that is what I do ;-)
You almost used the same sentence as Misha (above this post) about the song.
And I will almost write the same answer to you; I hope that I will also produce good songs this year.
Thanks!

Hi DC,

I'm very glad you like the song. Thanks a lot for the compliments!
The trumpets were a challenge; their soundscape and the fact that I am not a huge fan of trumpets...
But they worked out very good here.
Thanks!

Hello Brian,

Thanks for your compliments and glad you liked it.
I didn't think it was to your taste, but it looks like I was wrong!
Have a nice day

Sounds great! Horns, vocals, groove... everything.

The term "horn" refers to where the instrument originally came from - the horn of an animal. The term "French Horn" The term "brass" also applies to the horns in general.

In an orchestral context, "horns" does mean the French Horns. Unless, of course, you're talking about the English Horn, which is neither English nor a Horn. wink

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?
