Hi PG Music and Band in a Box Community,
i´m very new in the band in the box universe but i like it from the first moment.
Is it maybe possible to use the biab styles live with a Keyboard?
I do not mean record parts and play over midi...
Is it possible to press a "Am" chord on a midi Keyboard and the style and beat and akkomposition repeat/hold live until you press the next chord?
Please say yess ;-)
I would love to use it with a Midi Pedal Roland PK5 and my Guitar
If not do PGmusic plan to intergrate a function in the future like this?
In my naive imagination everything is already there and biab/PG must in theory only record a loop with midi of one bar in record mode or not?
Anyways a cool software and i will tell it all my friends... Nice for songwriting, jamming over progressions etc.

Firstly Jack, welcome to the neighborhood.
I think what you are describing is an 'Arranger Keyboard'. At present, this is not a feature that BiaB delivers, however, it has often been requested, and it may be included in a future release. I agree that it would be a fantastic feature to add to the product.

It has a limited number of BIAB styles of bass and drums to play along 'live' with. As you noted, record a quick loop and play over it. Digitech Trio Plus
