I just purchased Music Creator 5 from PG. However, I use the Ketron SD2. I want to access using MC5 my SD2 upper banks. Therefore, I need the file "SD2.INS". Can't find on Cakewalk Forum yet or their web site. If you know how to get this file please let me know or send me the link.

Thanks from Milwaukee Mike

To All:

The file Mac sent does not work in C5. C5 does not have the ability to have a patch map to the SD2. Please see other posting on PG forums by me and the answers with links to Cakewalk forums. Thanks for your help Mac.

Having SD2 and the great sounds within means I do not need the TTS-1. Yes it is not as quick to change the Midi track or tracks in to an audio using SD2, but it sure sounds better once done. I purchased the C5 to work with EZmix for it's better VST handling; however, now there are problems with C5 audio. I think I'm going to return it to PG as well, and go back to working with what WORKS!!!!!

You need to be patient. MC5 works very well. You need to invest the time to learn how to set these things up. They all work or they would not be on the market. In the 10 years I have been using software for recording i have seen that 99% of all problems are either computer issues, or user issues.

I have the same problem i was shure that MC5 was working with Ketron SD2 but it's sounds like a Casio keyboard so im very desapointed,

i know that the SD2 sound module can replicate real musical instrument and the sound is great but with MC5 it sounds like crap.....

anyone as a good answer about it?

The question is how are you sending the midi data to SD2? What is your midi output settings for all the tracks? What channels does MC5 send on and what is the receiving setup for the SD2?
