With the increasing power of processors in iPads and capabilites to run Logic Pro as well as GarageBand, it seems like Band In A Box would be perfectly suited to an app for iPad and maybe even iPhone. Would LOVE to have BIAB on my mobile devices...it can be the ultimate sketch pad on the fly. Any development underway for us?

If they are looking into to this now behind the scenes as suggested it would be a good way to go:
JUCE is the most widely used framework for audio application and plug-in development. It is an open source C++ codebase that can be used to create standalone software on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, as well as VST, VST3, AU, AUv3, AAX and LV2 plug-ins.

JUCE allows developers to focus on the most valuable parts of their software by taking care of the differences between operating systems (both desktop and mobile) and plug-in formats. With JUCE’s library of digital audio processing (DSP) building blocks you can quickly prototype and release native applications and plug-ins with a consistent user experience across all supported platforms. Using JUCE also future-proofs your products against operating system and plug-in host updates.

With their current programming language PG spend 6 months on the Win Version then the next 6 months on the Mac version let alone iOS.

As Mac OS and IOS converge it certainly seems like some kind of opportunity exists in this space. To me the ideal approach would be a plug-in for either (both would be best) Logic Pro or Garage band for IOS.

PG Music could do what it takes to make the plug-in the first rate performer it should/could be.
That would indeed be a beautiful thing. Its a bit short of the mark at present
Then all us AAPL users would have a truly capable piece of software whether IOS or MacOS.

MusoCity- Is Juce this weeks flavor of Xamarin? Or is Xamarin already dead?
There goes my snarky software developer reaction to the all-singing, all-dancing,all-wonderful software IDE.

I believe multi-platform development could make a good AI application.

At the risk of injecting a dose of reality to this little pipedream...

I can't imagine it could happen before PGMusic makes BIAB AS compatible and Apple builds an iPad capable of hosting BIAB Audiophile alongside Logic Pro.

Rosetta 2 isn't an option for iPadOS and having only 2TB potential onboard storage isn't enough. Yes, you can load external libraries from a drive but if you're going to do that, far better off with a MacBook Air. Add a decent keyboard case to a 12.9" iPad Pro, it's a little larger and heavier than a 13" M2 MBAir. Yes, really.

Configured the same including a keyboard, decent amount of storage & a USB-C charging hub, a 12.9" M2 iPad Pro is more expensive than a 13" MBAir M2 (around $500 more if maxing the storage of both to 2TB). The MBAir has two TB3/4/USB-C ports plus another for the MagSafe charger, meaning it doesn't require a USB-C hub to add charging, an interface and external storage. Plus you can run any DAW you want including LPx which @ $199 by itself or in the Pro Apps Bundle for Education with Main Stage/FinalCut Pro/Compressor/Motion, none of which have Subscription. 1TB–8TB Thunderbolt 3 external storage can be had for <$150–$900 if you know where to look. —— Of yea, you can do all of this today.
