Scott, maybe you’ll get a flashlight for Christmas to help lighten the darkness. Seriously, I have always liked sad songs. It’s probably a good idea to explore all the emotions in our writing. You did a good job on the vocals and the lyrics. Your tracks all work well and the production sounds really good. I did enjoy my listen, Tom Thanks, Tom. I'm glad you enjoyed the song.

Oh, Scott, you are the patron saint of what's so good about the darkside. Even a one-eyed horse would follow your lead. I love this line "I am living on the upside of down"
The Wreckig Crews you hire are as good as any in history. What a brilliant Christmas song of our times. Thanks, Marty. BTW, I enjoyed your southern voice over in Stefan's video.

Some strong imagery and an excellent vocal, Scott. And man, you certainly have the voice to pull off this type of song. The patron saints of chaos, greed and destruction seem to be having a field day, unfortunately. Regards, Leon

The darkest song I've heard from you so far, indeed. Interesting leap from the low vocal to the high vocal. Your voice can do it all, easily.
Rob Thanks, Rob. I appreciate your kind assessment.

Dark narrative and dark tonality in your excellent vocals. The band is ace. Love the high notes too. Ray, thanks much. I tried to be darker, but I didn't have it in me.

Scott,
Love this song and the instruments choices. I think this is one incredible vocal - perfect for the mood of the song.
A great dark and moody piece.
Bob Bob, thanks for the listen and comments!

I love dark This is a pretty cool song, I really enjoyed listening to it. The left acoustic guitar makes the song a bit too busy and takes my attention away from the best part (your vocals). I think I would try something less busy, probably a clean electric guitar that holds chords. That's the best thing about BIAB, you can just try out ideas. But as it is now, it's already very good, so don't worry too much about it. Thanks, BD. I'll generate a track and see how it sounds. I went with the rhythm acoustic because that is how I play it on my guitar.

There's no missing the pain and hopelessness in these lyrics, that said, a very good write, great vocals and I love that acoustic. With much of the world on fire, this is quite current.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2025 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Hi Scott,
A very good song in all perspective: the vocals, the band sand the song as a whole! You really sing with full conviction, still the song sounds familliair as being a genuine Ezekiel! The lyrics are clever written, the language a bit a challenge for me to understand it all (but I have Google!) And I think it's the time of year that we see/hear all these sunny lyrics. I thought mine were dark, but Jannice and Bud were close. Then came Brain with his f-word song and now you, even with a burning city on your cover! And for the band; I liked the chord progression and how the acoustic guitars do their work. Lovely, or ace (as Ray calls it)!
I really enjoyed it al, Hans

Ezekiel's Storm,
The lyrics are a bit difficult for me to understand, but I can really feel the dark side atmosphere. Your vocals add the unique taste to it more. It's very moody and mysterious. It makes us get nervous when that the chord progression doesn't quite move towards the tonic chord, but it's very effective. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Scott...I really like the track...this could be popular in the great tribulation to come...it's that kinda dark ... an apocalyptic anthem for sure...your vocals are Bowie-esk and with the lyric quite haunting...your songs are always interesting and very well done!

"Riding a one-eyed horse back into town I am living on the upside of down"
Nice!
Really well written, Scott. Track sounds great, love the change in mood at 2:35, and strong vocal. Enjoyed! Thanks, Dave. I used Symphonic Elements at the section to give it depth.

Hi Scott, This is quite an amazing song. Your powerfully evocative imagery resonates with world happenings rights now. The production is outstanding and your singing sits perfectly from both a mixing perspective and a performance perspective. Honestly, this is one of the best comments on the failings of Capitalism that I've heard in recent years. Purgatory has left you damned The hysteria of the seduction Pray to your patron saints Of chaos, greed, and destruction Thanks for sharing. --Noel Noel, Thanks for the positive evaluation.

Not enough dark rock songs here, I'm really glad you fill that void. Dark story, no hope: "Pray to your patron saints/Of chaos, greed, and destruction" Intriguing chord progression and the acoustic picking brings it nicely forward. Good classic sounding chorus. Very good use of guitars, really powerful ones starting before purgatory. You have the best rock voice on this forum, I enjoy it thoroughly, very nice rise from low to high.
Janne Janne, that is high praise, Thanks so much.
