I ran RB up to the 2024 version on an old Dell Inspiron with Windows 8.1 for maybe 10 years and the Jbridge handled the Sonnox Oxford Reverb perfectly. It was a 512gb hard drive and I was running out of space.
so ...
I now installed a new 1TB SSD into another spare i7 Dell Inspiron that I had and installed Windows 11 on it. I moved all my music software over to this PC. Now when I scan for the VSTs I get a jBridge message: "Could not load the plugin"
In RB the yellow error message reports "Oxford Reverb Native.dll is not a valid Plugin"
But on Windows 8.1 it works perfectly?
Tried all the Run as Administrator options, cannot get it to work ... Any ideas?

Hi CT,
This sounds like it might be related to a 32-bit versus 64-bit issue.
Was your 8.1 system 64 bit or 32 bit?
Also, when you say you "moved Sonnox Oxford" to your Windows 11 machine, does this mean that you reinstalled it on the Windows 11 machine? And if you re-installed it, what version of the plugin did you re-install? RB does not support VST3 plugins and as far as I'm aware, JBridge doesn't act as a bridge for VST3 plugins.
Regards, --Noel

Windows 8.1 is also 64 bit version. That why I cannot figure what's the difference.
I did installed jBridge again and Sonnox on the Windows 11 Machine.

Oh, and I run RB 64 bit on both sides, so its exact same RB, same Jbridge, same Sonnox. Just windows 11 different on the "new" PC.
btw. I started the old RB 2020 32bit RB on windows 11 and Sonnox works.
(Wished then for RB2024 32bit version)

The +++ Sonnox Oxford Reverb User Guide +++ indicates license and ilok authorization is needed. Have you used the free ilok account or ilok2 device to authorize the plugin? Have you downloaded and tried the 64 bit VST2 plugin without Jbridge? Have you checked with +++ Sonnox Support +++?

As another option, some of my plugins have the VST3 version in one of the places music programs tend to look. For some Kontakt stuff I had to specifically point it to the VST2 version in a different folder. Luckily for me that folder was clearly labeled .. but the apps didn't find that folder by default; I had to navigate to it.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!
