The lyrics are also nice to hear/read. Like them a lot; not 'to say goodbye' of course. That's too difficult, as you pointed out very well!

As far as I can remember, it's been a while since you last sang together, or am I wrong?
If I'm right, I'm glad you're back! If I'm wrong, sorry, but also glad to hear you both again,

Hans

Thanks Hans

Read through the other comments while listening, for my tastes Leons vocal is sitting right where it should. It sounds like you are using a bit more reverb on it than you have in the past, and I think it really works well.

Good song, great playing. Only complaint was the fadeout ending, seemed a little abrupt.

Thanks Dave, I agree the fade envelope was abrupt.

Good tracks - strong BAND. Sounds like a tight band that knows how to lay tracks. ("we don't need outside guys in the studio!...")
The BGVs throughout are nice.
Good mix.

Nice!

Peter and Leon...really well done production...I loved the vocals....the harmonies were cool...and the guitar work was stellar (of coarse!)...reminded me of the great rock tunes of the late 60's early 70's!

Hi Peter.

Yet another fine song for you and Leon to add to your collection.
Right from the start you grabbed me and held my attention.
The lyrics are excellent and your performance is superb.
What had me thinking the most was just how polished this sounded.
I heard nothing that said "home studio".
This music is radio ready from start to end.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening.

I agree about the 60s sound, this has a great 60 sound and it's so good that I think it could have played on the radio back then!
🙂

I just like the whole vibe overall, the production the playing, the singing, everything. The lyrics are fantastic.

Great job on this one fellas!!

So good to hear you and Leon again!

The harmony is excellent …like brothers.

We obviously love the guitar 😀 and the drums and bass sound very good. The mix sets up a great soundstage on our monitors.

Y’all are a great team with both the lyric and melody.

This section below illustrates how the melody captures that building of emotions that are about to overflow:

“It’s hard – to keep it real
All these emotions to conceal
It’s easy to lose control
Pour out what’s in my soul”

Love it!

It's easy to say that this is a pleasant melodic pop song, like straight from the sixties with a simple message, nice melody and enjoyable vocals, Leon is doing great job and the harmonies feel warm. The band sounds like they have played together for years, the drums fit well. I feel like I'm listening this in a live evening at a small local pub, somehow brings me an Irish feeling and the band called The Saw Doctors.
