I have been looking for the past hour and I came out empty handed. Is there a style that recreates brass section hits in the style of Chicago or any R&B style with a similar setup?
I am thinking Earth Wind & Fire, Le Chic, and similar.
If it exists, I am using the wrong keywords to find it and I'd appreciate some help. Thank you.

I listened to a lot of Styles that contained the name [Chicago] but nearly all didn't have any brass instruments.

_FRAME.STY was about the only one that included Horns. it was suggested for the song 'Feeling Stronger Every Day'.

Memo: This smooth jazz style features a 10-part horn section backed by guitar, piano, bass, and drums. -Examples: Feels So Good, Breezin'. Local Hero, Genre "Intensity" Score=76/100
_FRAME.STY. Frame Smooth Jazz Groove
All RealTracks. Quintet. Tempo=80 (60-110)
Instruments: El.Bass, El.Piano, El.Guitar, HornSection, Drums
RD: LaPopJazzSlowEv16: a: Snare, HiHat b: Busy Snare, Ride :Craig Scott
RT909: Bass, Electric, SmoothPoppy Ev16 090 , Vernon Barbary
RT910: Piano, Electric, Rhythm SmoothBallad Ev16 065 , Jeff Lorber
RT3331: Guitar, Electric, Rhythm JazzyPop16thsMark Ev16 080 , Mark Lettieri
RT2781: Horn Section, Background CroonerBossa10-Part Ev 110 , Jim Clark

Not really at the [Chicago] level though in my view.

Still better than what I could come up with, thank you. I'll go check how they work.

If you can't find a usable Chicago style put a request in the WishList forum and you will get a big +1 from me.

Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

You’re definitely on the right track looking for those classic brass section sounds! For the Chicago style or similar brass-heavy R&B/funk vibes, you might want to search for terms like 'horn section hits,' 'funk brass,' or 'big band brass.' Specific styles that might help could be under '70s Funk' or 'Disco Brass.' You could also try looking for patches or presets labeled under Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, or similar. If you’re using a DAW, check out any vintage brass plugins that focus on those genres. Good luck!

I usually just grab a synth with decent horn sounds and roll my own, but I'm an old horn player and know how to.
It isn't that hard once you try.
I've never found a style for horns that would fit as well as I could just play one way or another.

Just seems faster and I get better results
