Solaria definitely sounds a LOT more human with your bent notes, breaths and other subtleties.
Your guitar solo is well worth the price of admission.
Well done in chops and tone!
Nice band and mix too. The drums sound like they have delay on them but perhaps it just a subtle syncopated vibe.
Not an issue - just curious.

Wow, great song here. It's been an exceptionally busy/stressfull couple of years for my wife and me. I just took a break from planning part of a road trip for us to get away together and decided to listen to songs on the forum. Sure glad I did, and this one sure hit the mark!

You're such a good writer, Herb. The fact that this gem sat on a backburner while others were done confirms that. I really like the melody on this and the lyrics you provided it. Excellent work with solaria, and the whole band sounds good. Sybtle but strong differences between the two versions. Thank you Babu.... The others are still in a state of flux. I'll be finishing them up soon, hopefully.

Really enjoyable song to be sure! One suggestion is to put a melodic lift to the chorus. You don't have to change the chords just lift the melody. Regardless, I like the sentiment the vocals and style choice!

Pretty good song, I really enjoyed listening to it. Reminds me lyrically of one of mine. I think you found the right singer for this kind of ballad. This is one of the best sounding synth voices that I have ever heard - brilliant work.
I thought it was a real singer until I read your intro.

have never heard Solaria sound this good. How did you achieve that degree of emotion from her? Great Song it works on every level. From the notes to the pitch variation wave in the notes. Little things that make a difference between ok and wow.

"Riding down the highway Wind in my hair/Pedal to the metal Not a single care" perfect introduction to the classic road theme. Enjoyed the mix, the drums sound strong and the solo guitar has that classic ballad sound. And the bright vocals shine nicely through. I really appreciate the work you have done to make the singer sound so natural, not just the timing of the notes but all the nuances and the tone. Pleasure to listen to this great track.

So I went in and added a harmony to the chorus and I like it. Good advice. The typing was actually correct but for some reason it didn't get treated properly by SV so I edited it phonetically and waaa laaa... yep, sounds better. Thanks for listening and picking the nits.
