BIAB 2023 was my first experience with BIAB and it seems the UI has had a general rethink especially common dialogs like the style picker. ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=28318&filename=Screenshot 2024-07-04 at 3.33.08 PM.png) It looks like the open demo thing which I used to use a lot is now a sub-option under the thing called options. Was anything else removed rather than moved from here? It's sure less busy and less confusing and overloaded with stuff than it used to be. Good progress.

Yes, there were a lot of changes made so that the various Picker dialogs are more consistent and similar to each other.
To load a song demo, you can click on the + button beside the Demo button and click Load Demo song. There is also a new right-click context menu, so if you right-click on a style in the main Style area there is the load song demo option there as well.

Hi Warren,
In the stylepicker, the right click (or ctrl left-click) menu shows the most commonly used functions including “load song demo”. That’s was a user suggestion (thanks Jeff Pettit), and very useful. It’s also Mac only, not on the windows version yet.

It's a lovely change. I find using the streamlined 2024 mac version VERY pleasant. The layout feels orthogonal to its purpose.

I also love the new tracks view, here's me using it to mute the harmonica to make room in the arrangement for vocal and instrumental solos. Views >> Tracks seems to toggle the tracks view on and off.
