Hello,
I am wondering if there is a way to add a note to a song. I don't mean musical notes, I mean like an attachment, like an MS windows notepad document. Or maybe there is something already built in?
I am asking for something simple. I just want to be able to jot down some useful information about a song I created in band in a box, and have this information associated with the song for easy referencing.

There is. And it's called - wait for it - Song Memo. Your instincts are good!
Look at the row that has the song name, and to the right, the number of repeats. Just to the right of that are two icons. The first is Song Memo. Click on the icon. The window is in two parts: the left-hand panel has song data, but the right-hand panel is open for your notes. For more info, click on Help, Index and type Memo.
The memo is saved with the song; no attached file needed.
Tip: In the older but bigger user interface, there is the word Memo on the icon. You can do a Ctrl+T to toggle between the older and newer user interface. Now it's just an icon, but if you hover over it, it says Song Memo.
