Wow, Dan.
Heartbreakingly beautiful.
(The first time I have Completely Believed a bot vocal. A real achievement.)

Dan. It seems like I only get to the forum every now and then these days, and not that long at a time, so I try to catch up as fast as I can. I'm now listening to this one several times in a row. Simply put, it just a fantastic song done in a fantastic manner. As the song first began I was thinking to myself, "Typical Dan - going to be a great write and masterful production." I really loved how you built the song from just an acoustic guitar and then added the other instruments without overpowering anything. And your use of those AI voices is incredibly good. I admit, like others I miss hearing your own vocals (probably not as much as you), but I'm so glad you didn't let it stop you. You're putting out great music and have a lot of good things to say in your songs.
I've not yet lost a sibling, but I have lost several people who were very close to me. I have a feeling that your sister knew you were a writer, and if she left before you it wouldn't surprise her at all that you would try to write something about her. And though, I know you can't adequately describe your feelings in a 4 minute song, I think she'd be impressed at how well this one turned out. I know it had to be difficult to write, but it truly has the feelings of someone who's been there and knows. You've seen and know both the loss and the reality of our hope ... "All the tears will be wiped away and all the shadows flee. Every fear we've ever known swallowed up in victory 'cause Jesus, Jesus holds tomorrow. Yeah, the future's in His hands. He'll explain the pain and sorrow if we hold on tight...day and night we will understand." Just a small example of how wonderfully you can put the truth in a song.
Sorry it's such a long post, but I just can't say enough about this song. This one hit quite close to home, thank you,
Brad

Dan. You always get such clear production. Don't worry too much about the aging in your vocals. I suffer that too. Although this nicely done and one of the best I've heard, I haven't heard a synth voice yet that can cover the emotion of a human voice. Great stuff.

Vic Vic...thanks so much...you're right ...though these are recorded human voices, notes are not all that songs are about...emotion and passion needs to be there...not sure synthesizing a voice will ever capture that...Dan
