I LOVE your lyrics, I hope you find someone to contribute some vocals for you.
For my taste, the backing tracks sound too happy for those lyrics, but it wouldn't be the first song where that very contradiction makes it work.

Very nice Mike. Great production with nice instruments. Be sure to repost if someone steps forward to provide a vocal, this has got a great sound.

Hi, Mike. Pleasant melody, good varied arrangement. I would have preferred a touch (more) reverb on the Irish flute, but that's just a nit. Nice listen all the way through!  Thanks for listening David. I appreciate your comment about reverb. I always second-guess myself when it comes to reverb - have I used too much or too little? Hello Mike,
I'm sure that with vocals it would be a great vocal song.
But the chord progression and melody are so beautiful that it works as an instrumental song too.
The lyrics are very sad, but half of pop songs have heartfelt lyrics.
I'd love to hear a version with vocals.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Excellent emotional lyrics with a darn good melody. I was trying to sing along with the flute.

Beautiful tune! I loved every part of it. G'day mate! Wolf (Florida)
I began in 1970 with a 7 piece dance band. I had other bands, but my most successful one was "The four Windows", a 4 piece guitar band. Many concerts, TV shows, Record contract with EMI and a guitar hit in 1982 in Europe with my "Lonely Seagull".

What an outstanding write this is--the lyrics are so, so well-written! I had to go back and read the a couple of times . . . just superb. The instrumental is lovely, wonderfully mixed and produced. I'd love to hear this with a singer--not my style vocally but there are plenty of folks on the board willing to pitch in. I'm hoping someone will take up the cause because it deserves to be recorded and heard. Great work!!
