Fantastic work from all 3 of you.
My new favorite of yours!

Thanks a lot I appreciate that.

B.D. hit the nail on the head - would be a Gary Moore classic - uh, not the TV guy from the fifties; rather, the guy who used to play guitar and sing the heck out of Blues tunes - that guy.

Everything is so perfect. I particularly like the strong drums and bass. They give Janice's voice and Peter's guitar a superlative bed. And the key modulations kept pumping new energy into the song.

In a single word - WOW!

Thanks Alan - appreciate the Gary Moore comparison.

Thanks Ray (I don't think I've ever tried one of the sandwich's).

This all sounds very clean - this mix is very tastefully done - as is Janice's singing. It's fun to hear her go for the low notes.

Nice work by everyone on the team! smile

Thank you! We’re biased but, yeah, blues is always good indeed. 😀 We appreciated all you mention and it was cool to hear you liked the mix. And tasteful is indeed a word to strive for in this production thing.

Peter outdid himself in this one! Another superb vocal. So emotive (I'm happy to hear the song is not autobiographical :/) This deserves placement in a film. I see you have a lot of plays already, so you might be on your way to being viral.

Nothing wrong with a slow burn at all.
This is a great mix and well done on all accounts, especially Peter's guitar work.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Not usually a fan of modulations in blues, but they work here.

Excellent you three, very much enjoyed!

Thank you for the supportive review Dave and more thanks for the positive comment on the mods.

Much appreciated!

Thanks a bunch! We live in a blues/blues rock musical world and it is very gratifying to receive a great review from a non aficionado. So … it is much appreciated!

Hi Janice and Bud,

Well, this was an awesome song! And I realised how I missed this kind of songs the last couple of weeks.
I read, that everyone here had the same kind of feeling I have.
A great song, a nasty guy again, of course, and wonderful vocals. That's how Blues must sound!

About the SoundCloud 'promises'; I to noticed their promisses to listen to the song, and sharing it in the coming days. Haven't heard anything yet. Have you?
In spite of that, the song is great (have I said that before???),

Have a nice day,
Hans

Sad story full of darkness and tears, always works for me in a blues song. Peter's solo work is excellent, such a sad tone and melody and the bending really hurts - even Gary Moore would have been jealous. Janice's voice is of course full of pain and emotion - this is like a battle between Janice and Peter, which one of you expresses more sadness, I can't decide smile The mix is very pleasant to my ears. An instant classic that doesn't wear out by listening to it.

Great job Peter providing those string bending solos! They are very effective
Bud, I know you are the pro that has pulled this all together in a super appealing package!

Thanks, TB
