Hi All,

I thought I would have a bit of fun in the Public Domain for a change… smile

Here's my version of SEE SEE RIDER

I said see
See see rider
Oh see what you have done
I said see
See see rider
Oh see what you have done
Well you made me love you
And now, now now a loving man has gone
When I say

Well I’m going
Going away baby
And I won’t be back till fall
Well I’m going
Going away baby
And I won’t be back till fall
If I find me a good girl
I won’t won’t won’t be back at all
When I say

I said see
See see rider
Oh see what you have done
I said see
See see rider
Oh see what you have done
Well you made me love you
And now, now now a loving man has gone
When I say

Well I’m going
Going away baby
And I won’t be back till fall
Well I’m going
Going away baby
And I won’t be back till fall
If I find me a good girl
I won’t won’t won’t be back at all
When I say

Hey Bob,

Man, this is wild!

What a cool arrangement of this old classic, you've certainly made it your own! Loved the talk box!

Great vocal!

Lots of fun, loved it!

I like your interpretation.

I didn't know BB has a talkbox track..... way cool.

Whoa, this is a RIPPIN' version, Bob! That's quite a band, and the talk box and scratch loop were inspired choices. Those 2nd half vocals are cranked up and AMAZING. What a cool, original take. Something old, but something quite new. Love it!

Wow!
Man, what a different side of your talent.

The session crew is absolutely stellar.
That talk box guitar, the drums and the bottom end on the bass are superb.

And that super gritty vocal takes this to a different but great place indeed.
This is a real treat!

PS: We have also had fun interpreting that one a while back. smile

Herb,

Thanks - much appreciated.

I did not know about the talkbox RT either. I was searching for a great lead sound and stumbled upon it.

Oh, I see what you have done, Bob. And I hear it, and I love it. What a cool take on this oldie, and yo gave it a fresh face. Very entertaining. Very cool idea giving the baritone its due. Well done.

Enjoy whatever happens!

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

BRILLIANT song and treatment! I love the 'warbles' - and the all around creativity. My favourite one of yours to date. Really, really well done - and great use of BiaB.

I've recently written new lyrics for what I call a 'naughty rock version' of a traditional British folk song - I won't say what it is as there's a great story behind it which I'll tell when I get it completed and post it. I recently tired to record vocals for it, but as I'm only separated from the next door retirement flat by plasterboard walls I just found my singing subconsciously subdued when I need to be roaring it. With it being British and there's mention of English towns it needs very rough British vocals, so I'm looking on Fiverr to find someone to sing it.

Some favourite Waoist Adages:
#1: Play on the Way.
#13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you.
#58: Bring consciousness to it.
#63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made.
#92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Janice & Bud,

Thanks so much. That's very kind.

I'm going to go back now and find your version. I must have missed it the first time around.
