But it changes the tempo to that of the style. Can it be set to maintain the songs tempo? It (he? she? they?) answered: >> In the Band-in-a-Box StylePicker, when you double-click on a style, it auditions the current song with the tempo changing to that of the selected style. If you wish to maintain the tempo of your current song when auditioning styles, you can enable the "Always Change Tempo to best tempo for style whenever a style is loaded" option in the StylePicker settings. This can be found in Chapter 6: Making Songs, specifically on page 71 of the manual. By checking this option, the tempo of your current song will not change when auditioning different styles. Chatbot's answer is not quite what I am hoping to do. So now I will ask to see if any humans can help. I know the tempo of the song and I don't want it to change... say it's 115 bpm. When I pick a style to audition, I want to hear that style at 115 bpm, not at it's own built-in tempo, so that I can hear how that style fits the song. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks for any help!

Another issue to me is that when I audition I don’t want the style to fully change until I hit accept or something similar. Lenovo Win 10 16 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2024, Realband, Reaper, Harrison Mixbus 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app, Komplete 49 key controller.

In the Stylepicker (or Multipicker on the Styles tab), click the Options button near the top and select "Set Dialog Options". In the Stylepicker Options window, uncheck the two boxes that say "Always change tempo to best tempo for style whenever a style is loaded" and "Change 4-bar preview tempo to best tempo for style". While you're here, make sure "Double click on style plays Chord Sheet chords" is enabled. Now, when you double click a style in the Stylepicker or Multipicker, BB will audition the selected style using your chordsheet and without changing the tempo. I work here
