I'm using PTW 2022, and have Soundcraft MTK12 plus Behringer XENIX Q502USB connected for audio.
Nornally can only choose in Preferences one driver for each Interface.
How could be possible to use both.
Some Keys are in my case connected to the Behringer and others to the Soundcraft MTK12.

Hold down CTRL key and select multiple choices In Options-Preferences-Audio-Drivers area. (or MIDI)

Keep in mind these two particular devices will each use their own internal clock/DAC so some minor timing issues may occur when using multiple separate devices with different clocks.

Then you have to right click a track and select Port to assign that track to the desired device.
When I was most successful with that I was using 2 M-Audio 1010's that you could sync the clocks on.
The clock issue is not a fault of PT, for what it's worth.
Having a Word clock to control each device (or a similar way to sync them) is the trick.

I remember first trying it with a Creative card and one of the 1010's .. which did not work well.
This occurs more on Recording audio than on playback if I recall ...

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

You would have to use MME in order to have more than one audio driver in use at the same time, which should work, but is not ideal from a latency standpoint.

lobster.

assuming your not recording multiple synths at the same time...(am i correct ?)..
why not just reserve a input line channel on mtk and feed it from line out of the xenyx ?
or am i missing something re your rig ?

you could also...like many musos used to do use a 'switcher' hooked into one mtk
channel ? for multiple synths etc where your recording one at a time ?

are you recording a large band ? where everyone plays at the same time ?

happiness.

Lots of workarounds for this, but it sure sounds like you could just use the MTK12 for this, simply plug both synths into it and select the 'Ports' in the Audio Interface
Preferences - Audio - Driver button .. (again holding CTRL while selecting drivers allows multiple inputs channels)

However -
Recording a Live band with multiple inputs sometimes requires submixes (ie, the DAW has 8 available inputs and I have 12 to record)
Sometimes a submix (as JOM suggested) is the quickest way to get 'er done.

Temporarily 'borrowing' inputs
You may have to accept 6 drum mics as a stereo mix in order to also record guitar & bass, etc.
But you can also always go back and record those drums to separate tracks as inputs from the device if needed ..
