Hi All,

Here's a new song - this is called FALLOUT RADIO.

I was somewhere north of Scranton
Heard the Lawdy, Lawdy Blues
Miss Ida Cox was coming down
So I put the car on steady cruise

I was heading for the New York line
And the sky was bending low
All these songs playing soft tonight
On the fallout radio

I see the lights of old Elmira
Coming in off Route 86
The music still surrounds me
I see this town has hit the skids

I saw a street angel in the darkness
And the rain was falling slow
She was zoned out and tuned in
On the fallout radio

Don’t know where the music came from
Don’t know how it found my dial
Like a shot from a cosmic cannon
And it rolled on for 100 miles
On the fallout radio
On the fallout radio
On the fallout radio
On the fallout radio
On the fallout radio

Great song Bob! You always write such fabulous imagery, it's like being able to listen to a painting. I also really liked your use of the pedal steel and chill[out dimensions. Top notch.

Hey Bob, we've come to expect great story telling from a great story teller and this is great.
I like the minimalist Americana band you put together, sometimes less is more.

I'm glad this one found "my dial" wink

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Bob, I don't know how you turn these out so fast.
Your lyrics remind me of John Prine's.
Really interesting stuff.

Another great tune, Bob! Very evocative both lyrically and musically. Creative use of the steel and loop to build the mood. Super vocals, too!

Bob...super track...I love it when the bass rolls in and the layering you do from that point on...the pedal steel instrumental is haunting and so cool...as usual your lyrics and their cadence capture my attention and draw me into the story...you are a master story-teller...this was very nice indeed!

Hi, Bob.

You do a great job of making every bit count - every word, every note.

Impressive, and so good. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Interesting storyline lyrics as always, plus it's fine choice of instrumentation.

Bob,

Your ability to consistently turn out gravitating tunes like this is so admirable . . . You execute so well, time after time. Great imagery in those lyrics, with all the details that make a great lyric. Stellar production. Excellent!

For some reason this reminds me of the Cowboy Junkies...Trinity stuff.
The swelling fills, the gentle pace, the travelogue love lost narrative merge to make a very, very cool song.

Cheers
