Andi and the while ensemble,

It's a really great sounding track! Everyone did a phenomenal job! It's nice to hear music that gets away from a dominant drum sound!

Thanks, TB

Really good song, arrangement and band! And so nice to hear a human voice soulfully expressing the lyrics. SynthV would have ruined the song! laugh

I love hearing these collaborations. Deej's vocal carries the emotion well. A full, round sound from the band.

Hi Andi.
Really nice lyrics and arrangement. Deej does a great job on the vocal.
If I was forced to nit pick then I would say the synth, especially at the beginning sounded a little harsh.

Vic

Hi Vic
Thanks for your great feedback
The strings play lower at the beginning than on the second chorus.
Maybe that leads to your impression that they sound a bit harsh

This sounds like a great track as a film credits roll.

The very good horns and guitar interlude and the timpani at end of that is excellent.

Outstanding collab by all members.
You and Deej are a good team for lyrics and music.

We especially like this: “don’t worry about tomorrow, keep living for today”

Enjoyed it!

Gee, this is just beautiful. Every part is really strong and tight, and the song just soars. Was trying to place the source of the timpani(?) and cymbals but guessing those were triggered by the guitar synth. Great job, guys!

Hi Ron
Thanks for your great feedback
I play the timpani with cymbals on my FAME HYBRID PRO E-Drumkit.
However, I had to use some filters to get the “real” timpani sound.

Andi...it's so good to have you back on the forum...and you brought a BIG song with you....this is beautiful and majestic both lyrically and melodically...everyone excelled on this one! Deej always gives great vocal performances and the arrangement was stellar...the modulation was killer! Just superior in every aspect!

Hi Dan
Many thanks for your great feedback
When you have Deej on board, there's not much that can go wrong ;-)))
Many thanks Dan

I played the song before reading the intro notes. Kind of mesmerized me. The vocal grabbed me right away and such a wide soundscape. Then started to read the list of collaborators on the song. Wow did you hit it out of the park. Really well done

Really nice song. It's good to hear a collaboration from our family here.

By using or not using the same old instruments it forces you out of your comfort zone and pushes creativity to the front.

Hello Herb

Great team effort with meaningful lyrics, a strong melody, an amazing arrangement, super vocals and a professional production.
I hope this is not THE LAST TIME you guys get together.

I was impressed with the way you created rhyming lyrics. The key change is a nice touch also.

Hi Andi,

I'm really glad you came back here. Missed you!
The way you came in was wonderful. What an amazing song you made!
Deej surpassed himself (as far as possible) in his emotional singing.
The band was just good, very good!!!

I enjoyed it a lot, but it also made me feel sad. But that is the meaning of this song.
