New to this forum and fairly new to band in a box. I haven't scoured the entire manual but I cannot see this capability.
I was hoping there is a way to route tracks to separate outputs on my maudio profire 2626. It would be nice to have individual signal paths set for the various instruments. I mean I know I can render tracks and bring into my daw(reaper) but it seems multi channel output should be a feature.
I began exploring reapers "rearoute" option as I way to send bitb output to reaper but it seems a guy would only be able to send the stereo mix anyways.
Anyways maybe something for PG music to consider in the future. The ability to send channels to analog board etc
I don’t recall seeing this question before. To my knowledge, there is no way to do this in BIAB. You might consider doing a post in the Wishlist Forum here.
Since you mention Rendering, I’m assuming you want to direct different MIDI tracks to different virtual instruments, and you have multiple MIDI synths to give you each of the sounds you want. Is that correct?

Actually I am more interested in routing 'real tracks" than midi I generally work with midi in reaper. Again I know I can render tracks and bring into reaper but then if I want to make changes in the style form or chord progression I would have to repeat the process. I really like the new track view where the wave form appears (familiar daw view) which makes me think it would be an obvious feature from there to route signal wherever but alas Maybe I will have to post in the wishlist area and await the feature
I believe this feature is available to you in RealBand. Posting in this forum thread indicates your version of BIAB is for Windows, so you should have the RealBand program. Normally, the master out is A1 and the remaining ports are assigned as groups. If I recall, if RB recognizes an interface with multiple outputs, the groups can be reassigned from groups to outputs. G2-G16 can become A2-A16
Configuring RB to your interface, you can open the BIAB file in RB for rendering. Opening the file in RB will also make the tracks view available.
