I came across these new styles paks in the PG Music YT channel. They haven't been announced on this forum yet (that I know of), but they are up on their website for purchase. I grabbed both. The XPro PAK is huge, over 10x the size of the Xtra PAK. I'm guessing that is includes RealTracks and RealDrums that aren't part of the Pro distro. They're probably just duplicates of what I already have in the UltraPAK, but I've got a fiber Internet connection, so no biggie for me. Available for Windows and Mac.
Can someone please refresh/confirm my old memory? These are new styles built from RealTracks I already own, right? Xtra use RTs from Ulrapak while Pro uses RTs that a lessor BIAB version would have, right? No new RealTracks in either one, right?
I've always bought them regardless because I want everything (and it's just my kids' inheritance anyway) but just want to be sure I understand it correctly!
I'm not certain any of us understand it all correctly, but I think this is your answer:
Some of these style paks DO include additional RealTracks but most do not; they use what you have and that's why it's important for Pro version users not to buy the Xtra styles, only the XPro ones. I think the XPro style paks are more likely to have an extra needed RealTrack or two, as indicated by the OP's report of the size of the file.
If that's incorrect, I trust someone will tell me.

Note. The instructions on the web page to check if you have the latest, tell you to click on Add-ons in the Style Picker. As of Build 1113, this does NOT show you are missing these two new styles paks. The new paks were just released, after the latest BIAB build.

I just installed these. Although it's very hard to see what's being done at that speed, it did appear to be downloading .WMA files including a few drums, in both.
I did not see any .WAV files, so after this product is officially announced I will find out if the audiophile version requires anything extra.

Further observation: although the Slow Build said only 25 styles were added, far more than that were added. They all show up in the What Add-ons Do I Have list. I assume a new build will be issued that will correct the counts.
By the way, I do like several of the new jazz styles.

When I installed XTRPak18 just now, it filters in Style Picker as XTRAPak12. I have reported this to PG Music. I used the Install Manager to download and install the software.
Yes, I did a slow rebuild. Interesting! Maybe I rushed in and bought it too quickly and PG Music corrected the installation file! I'll download it again Thanks, Matt.
Edit: I have just re-downloaded the file using Install Manager and the XTRAPak18 styles are still listed as XTRAPak12

Does the install manager list it as 18 or 12? Are you running the latest build?
Hi Simon.
It definitely listed it as XtraPAK12 for me. The problem arose because I had BIAB open when I ran the install file. I followed Andrew's advice and deleted "stylz1.bin", and then ran the installation again with BIAB closed. After this, it is now installed as XtraPAK18.
