I have a strange one here and cannot seem to find the problem.
If I load a song with either RealTracks, RealDrums or Both, when I highlight a bar and then do a File-Delete Bars from the menu and pick any number of bars, I get the popup, as you will see in the attachments, asking me to Select Best RealTracks, sorted from best to worst (for the style).
I have to hit cancel for each RT or RD listed in the mixer. If there is only 2 RT’s, I get prompted twice. In a song with only RD, the rest being MIDI, I get prompted 1 time.
In the case of the style I picked at random, _BAGGM_B.STY Bouncy Dixieland Swing, I have to click cancel 5 times before the bar is actually deleted.
In the case of the old style ZZJAZZ.STY Jazz Swing Style, the deletion of a bar is instantaneous since this is a MIDI only style.
Using the latest 1113 patch and have already done a full return to factory settings and a slow style rebuild.
Still having the problem.
Try this: Do a load of any style with RT's and the associated demo and delete say bar 8 and see if you either get the prompts like I did or an instantaneous bar deletion without the prompts. You should get the latter if it is working properly.
IMPORTANT: DON’T SAVE THE FILE IS YOU TRY THIS AS YOU WILL OVERWRITE THE DEMO!
This problem has been reported to the development team. Hopefully it will be corrected in the next update. I've found that if I keep on pressing the 'Cancel' button (and sometimes the X that closes the Window), sooner or later the bar is deleted.
Thanks Noel96. I was getting ready to commit myself on this one. It looks like the number of times you have to click cancel is related to the number of RT's and RD's you have in the song as the problem does not appear to affect a fully MIDI populated song.

I hadn't picked up on this. That's useful information I'll pass it onto the PG Team. Thanks

I did try a song with all MIDI tracks and populated the Drum track with a RealDrum and only had to click 1 time whereas a full MIDI song with a MIDI drum did not prompt me to pick at all.
