Don't measure yourself against someone else's performance. The only thing that matters is what you are doing and your only competition is that guy in the mirror.
Are you writing each one better than the last one and are you enjoying the journey?

I like this driving country rock feel. Nicely done.

If it matters.... My opinion is as follows. I'd rather write a couple of good songs in a given time frame than to write a lot of songs that are just mediocre.

Thank you Greg.
Yes, where did it go?
When I was young I wasted so much time like it was never ending and when we are older we spend as much time trying to get it back.

Cool song and excellent band.
I found the chorus a little unsatisfying because it repeats, though with a phrasing/melody difference, the same idea and doesn't evolve into a solution, movement or change.
It's just me and how I invest in a story when listening. I doubt it'd bother anyone else.
Nevertheless - COOOOL song.

Cheers

It really does have an 'instant classic' quality about it. I'm hearing a little Dire Straights in the band and Bowie in your voice. Great song!

Hi Beth.
A friend of mine once mentioned the Bowie thing but I can't hear it. It must be the London accent we have.
Glad you liked it.
Thank you, Vic
