Elliot, this is a great sounding song! The stereo drums and bouncy bass make a great rhythmic base, and the panning synth is a cool texture. Super job programming the vocals. Cool fade ending, too. As usual, I'm mesmerized by your arrangement and purposeful placement of each element along your musical narrative. Great tune!
I'm a little confused by your credits, since the BiaB credits are duplicated by you and/or other sources. Not a huge deal, but you're definitely getting some nice sounds we don't hear a lot from BiaB, and I'm curious...

It started as a simple 4 chord acoustic guitar piece. I then brought it into BIAB to flesh out the arrangement. But I just couldn't find a good style for the groove. Which is sort of a hip hop bounce. So I brought it into my DAW Cubase and finally found a drum pattern in Groove Agent that worked. From there I added and subtracted, doubled, and overwrote various parts until I got it. For example, the bass is some BIAB and I played parts and cut them together. So are the heavy guitar power chords, and the pianos.

I'm in a minority of one I know but I loathe the here for you/there for you thing. It became currency very quickly. The song is a nice change of direction for you - tonally & atmospherically. The vocal is effective if a little stilted. I think I'd prefer your voice.

Hi Elliott,
Wow - this is another great song from you.
What I particularly like are: 1. The vocals - terrific - In tune and I can hear every single word without looking at the lyrics - a lesson for everybody on this forum. 2. Backing - highly inventive with lots of variation and interest - another lesson for us all. 3. Chorus - very good. 4. Outro - excellent interplay between the two vocalists.
keep up the excellent work.
Best Regards Nigel

Hi, Elliott. There's some cool ear candy here - especially the use of stereo. Pleasant song, the vocals and harmony work nicely. The build at the end works really well, too.

Another great job on the synths. Man, I really like how this song develops. What a brillinat start, and I it soars when the harmony comes in. Oustanding work on the instruments. Super mix and a terrific arrangement. Such great dynamics really keep the listener listening. Man, this is such a good mix with a strong polish and finish. So well done, Elliott. Glad you're here.

Now THIS is a nice duet, your call-and-response arrangement works really well. The way you use the stereo field is right up my alley. Enjoyed my listen. A lot!

Yes, Elliot this is very super and a radiant pop song!
You have become really really good at this catchy, almost Broadway sounding genre of commercial pop.
I'm not saying Broadway in a bad way I'm saying it as a high compliment. Some pretty intense production and composition skills going on here my friend.

Hi Elliott,
As always, a super song and production.
I love the variety of sounds from one section to another. Excellent use of the Synth vocals.
This one put a smile on my face. The production is superb. I always admire your creativity.

Yeah.... Mostly what they said.
Nice ear candy stereo field .... And that synth is nice. Very well done.

Hello Elliott,
I agree with all above. A very good song! Good buildup of it all. Very good vocals and bright drums and all other sounds in it. Yes, I enjoyed it. Like Al said, it put a smile con my face

The drums and synths intro got my attention straight away - and the rest of the song didn't disappoint. You've put together a great band here: your adding, subtracting, doubling and overwriting really worked. You did a great job with the synth voices too. I really enjoyed this. Mike

Elliott, this is great. Super choice and expertise on those synth voices. Outstanding backing band - loved those drums and strings! A perfect mix.

First impression - what a great drum sound in the intro and the synth arpeggios! Nice build up to the powerful chorus. Nice message, "all the mountain that you climb never get to the other side" resolved in "I am here for you if you need me".
The lead vocalist sounds bit rushed, but the melody/lyric isn't the easiest to sing, so you have made good work to reach this point. And the harmonies are excellent, the highlight of the song. The band is also excellent, the introduction of instruments is well thought out and the strings fill the space perfectly. Feels like a lost 80's classic hit, it would certainly have been on my daily playlist back then. You should get some popular artist to sing this on a blockbuster movie soundtrack and success would be inevitable!

Elliot...OMG!! what a super production...that intro was killer...those drums are from Groove Agent? ( I have that and have never used it...I use Cubase 13 Pro...a lot of it is way over my head)...anyway the song is so gorgeous aesthetically...the stereo panning and the synth are can I say "ear candy" again? and my man Saros (Cyrus to me) is so good ( I love him!)...you really know how to make these voices come alive and your use of effects is masterful (I'm so jealous)...the production and arrangement are crisp and clean...as was said you do not waste acoustic space with unneeded instruments and sounds...loved every bit of it...it's obvious to all of us that you are no amateur at music writing and production!

That is a creative arrangement! The hints of positivity in the lyric were very effective.
Soros/Sheena sound good, especially on the outro.
Meshing your performances with BiaB worked well.
Great band and the mix sounds really good. The kind of mix we love - nice and open with good dynamics.
Enjoyed it!

The opening had me hooked: those drums and then the keys. Good production skills with the instrument parts and their placement. A fresh sound with a pleasant melody. Strong build at the end. The synth voices sound good, but you've got a good voice you should use.
