Hello, forum friends

This song is written for the recording session of our music circle this summer.
I would like to introduce you two versions, which are the live band version and the RealTrack Karaoke version.
The RealTrack version was made for the vocalist to practice this song.
I usually prepare no vocal version of the song made with BIAB in advance for vocalists.
Any comments encouraged.
Always welcome.

Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi

Summary of Lyrics

I will give you, every second
All the love I've collected from all over the world
I will give you the words of love
The lips so you can tell me your love

Intertwining our fingers
And looking into each other's eyes
Though the words I whisper are the same as others'
The feelings burning in my heart are stronger than anyone else's

I will give you the heart that flutters for me
The shouts of victory, shining times
I will give you the passionate days
The heart and body that throb on a night of love
The sighs you make in a disrupted bed
The joy of loving

Let's spend together the days that pass
Let's keep protecting our dreams
So that we won't miss this happiness
I will give you everything I have
And this true love

Hi, Shigeki.

The beginning of the song threw me, because I'm used to playing "Ave Maria" at funerals, not weddings. Then again, it's been a long since I've played at a wedding. laugh

Pretty song, nice instrumentation, cool ending! smile

Shigeki,

Such a luscious and full sound!

I listened to most of the BIAB version and then listened to the live version.

The vocalist is very talented sang this very nicely. As always, your sound stage is full and wonderful. Thank you for a very nice listen!

David(Cuny),

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I was also very surprised when I read your comment.
In Japan, weddings are generally held in the Western church style, and pipe organs are often played.
Ave Maria is also very popular at such times.
However, funerals are held in the Buddhist style, so the focus is on Buddhist monks chanting sutras and no music is played.
So I definitely believed Ave Maria would be played at weddings.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Shigeki, nicely done, this turned out great. It was fun listening to your original guide track and comparing it to the final production. Both are quite nice, but the final version really sparkles. Your vocalist did a great job. And that ending is very cool. So...great composition, nicely scored and produced!

Yes, of course you're right. It's played during Western weddings as well.

I was just laughing at myself.

Lovely bit of music, and thanks for the details smile

Hi Shigeki Adachi smile

My gosh! You truly are the master of arranging as well as a master composer.
I love your instrumental scoring. It shines with musical strength and confidence.
I listened to both versions.
While I like what you have done with BIAB, the live performance is magical!
Tsuyoshi Tamada's vocal is superb.
His voice is a perfect fit for your orchestration and your writing.
I bet you and everyone got a huge round of applause after this was performed!
Out of curiosity, do you teach original composition for the Yamaha Music Foundation?
It certainly sounds like you should be one of the YMF's composing senseis.

As always, I am immensely impressed with what you manage to do!
All the very best,
--Noel

Really nice, Shigeki. Yes, great use of BiaB. That's exactly hoe I used for years --when I had better singers to present the songs. It was also great fpr practicing, and I made some for others too. Man, it must be fun to work with a group like that, Shigeki. This is snother outsstanding result. I realy like the changes you wrote, and Tsuyoshi Tamada sounds like a singer who doesn't need any practice. Like Sinatra, just let him read the notes from score. Of course, I much prefer the finished product. Man, those strings sound super as does the whole band. Love the lyrics and how good they sound in Japanese.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Shigeki Adachi,
you already had me with the intro, I LOVE pipe organ (coincidentally I used it in the intro of my last song too).
A beautiful song with a good singer and a well arranged orchestra.
And the ending is just epic!
Very well done!

Noel,

It's been a while. How are you?
Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
And many thanks for listening to the both versions.
I am really glad you like this tune, vocalist and my arrangement.

By the way, I have never taught composition at the Yamaha Music Foundation, but I did attend a composition class.
At that time, if I wanted to create my own music, there is no way but I had to study music theory and arranging, write my own score, and have the Yamaha teachers play it for me.
So a lot of students went to that class.
However, nowadays it is possible to create high-level music using computers, so the class was closed about 10 years ago.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Great love ballad with very sentimental lyrics and excellent vocalist, I really like his dynamics and the warm vibrato. The ending is fantastic, full of love and emotion.

Nice to hear the instrumental also, I can fully enjoy every detail of your composing talent in the exquisite chord progression and the pleasantly lush string arrangement. That organ really captures the powerful image of a solemn wedding at a church. Simply wonderful!

I listened to both versions...the RealTracks version certainly misses the vocal.
In the "real" version the vocal seems, on my playback, to have some distortion/grit/noise with it. Not a deal breaker but unusual in your pristine music.
I enjoyed this very much - coooool arrangement.

Cheers

Apologies. This is brief as we continue to have internet issues after the hurricane.

As always we enjoyed both versions and the final version is truly epic with Tsuyoshi and the VST instruments.
The strings are so rich and well placed.

Enjoyed it!

Janice & Bud,

First of all, I'm sorry for the terrible situation and offer my condolences.
I read about the recent Hurricane Helene on the international news.
Japan has also experienced many typhoons this season, causing damage in many areas.
