Another great synergy between the message, the music and the images. Well done Marty Laurent Thanks, Laurent. Much appreciated. I like that synergy thought. Love this Marty. One of your best. It is evident that you put a lot of work into this and the results are worth every every drop of sweat. Your voice is perfect for this genre of social commentary and observation. Nice catchy chorus. Fantastic, Well done!! Thanks, Izzy. I just changed the drums on this one. But since YT won't allow us to swap vidz, it can only be heard on my website, and no one goes there. Interesting and quite philosophical lyrics prove your talent with words and your depth as a thinker. Lovely melody with bit of melancholy, but still the message stands tall. Well, I'm not going to lie, the chorus is really catchy Pleasant arrangement and mix. The pedal steel is strong as steel and the bassline tells the final truth. Great vocals, those harmonies sound really nice. Janne Ha, thanks, Janne. Your comments always bring out a wide smile and/or a hearty laugh. Thanks for that too. You get it. I like this very much, the lyrics are meaningful, and the chord progression is clever, the way it goes from a minor mode to a major in the chorus. NICE!! Thanks, Elliott. You also use that major/minor move very effectively. I love the way you start the 2nd verse: clever & effective. Yeah, excellent mix: you sit your bass & vocal amongst the band as if they were members from the beginning. The counter melody section is an ACE and a full hand. Thank you, Ray. That ending was intended to show the truth masked, and in the end the truth prevailed like the cream rising to the top. Great song, i have always liked your singing voice and this has also nice melody which is everytime plus for my ear…
Jona Thank you, Jona. You are definitely in the minority liking that voice. Every band I was in always wanted me to sing something sometime. It sounded okay when I sang along with an acoustic guitar, but when I strapped on the bass... well it really sucked.

Great vocals and we love the counterpoint ending
The wrecking crew is ace as is your bass performance. Bill’s pedal steel is excellent.
Looking forward to the next song of this trilogy
You’re on a roll!

Marty, the truth is that this is one hell of a song. Great vocal and lyrics. Super bass. Bill did an outstanding job on that pedal steel. Great mix.
Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

Yeah, Bill did some creative work on this. My guess is YT felt I was getting too popular with almost 30 hits already. Marty, the truth is that this is one hell of a song. Great vocal and lyrics. Super bass. Bill did an outstanding job on that pedal steel. Great mix. Thanks for everything, Mario.

Relevant topic. The deception becomes amplified on social media with the mindless reposting.
I like the band. Your voice is clear and strong. I like sound of the BGVs too.

Hi Marty,
I listened to this about 2 weeks ago and thought I'd left a comment here. Obviously not!
Cool and provocative lyricwith the perfect accompaniamnet. That pedal steel was a really nice truth. And your vocal is stand-out!
Gotta agree with the message.
Very nicely done!
Alan
