This is somewhat a repeat of earlier request.
At times I have to go through a few dozen of re-generations to get segment to play on higher or lower octave, depending on what I am looking for in a particular segment. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes not. The twist is that you, as a user, don't even know if original material was recorded in different octaves. So it's always a wild chance.
It would be nice if you could force generation to pick from lower or higher octave content - if it was recorded of course.

+1. There needs to be a way to indicate that a RealTrack has a lower or higher octave selection available.

There is a recently added option that may do something like what you'd like.
Track Settings->Adjust Octave of Notes to Fit Note Range
p41 of the 2024 manual.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.
