Help!! BIAB Win not using Xtra Styles PAK 18 and XPro Styles PAK 7 #825788 Yesterday at 08:37 AM Band-in-a-Box for Windows

OP LawTunesII Newbie L Joined: Dec 2023 Posts: 2	I'm a very long time user who upgrades to the new Audiophile for Windows and all other new add-ons each year. In August, I upgraded to and installed the new Xtra Styles PAK 18 and XPro Styles PAK 7. But the program's styles listing does not show the new styles, indeed when I sort the style list by date, etc. it shows nothing is 2024. Yet In File Manager I see the 2024 stuff, and What Do I Have? shows nothing missing. I think there must have been some installation glitch or problem. I am unaware of any other styles being affected but really can't be sure. My primary questions are: -- What could be causing this? -- What is the best way I can assure that ALL styles and files have been fully and properly installed? Thank you. (I note I am not a Newbie.) Rustyspoon# Veteran Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 5,936	Just guessing... Did you do "rebuild" in Style menu? Are you running BIAB from external hd? If yes,when you installed these xtra packs, they were installed to correct path?

Andrew - PG Music PG Music Staff Joined: May 2002 Posts: 7,093 Victoria, BC	It sounds like the styles database was not updated for some reason. In your bb\data folder, what is the date modified of the file factory_stylz1.bin ? Is it August 28 2024, or an earlier date? Please send the log file. To do this: 1 - Press windows key + R, type "%temp%" (no quotes) and <enter>. This takes you to the user temp directory. It's in a hidden directory so it can be hard to find otherwise. 2 - Sort files by date modified or otherwise find a recent text file that starts with "Setup Log...". Email this file to support and include a link to this forum thread. In the mean-time, you could rename or delete the factory_stylz1.bin file, and run the Xtra Styles PAK installer again, followed by a rebuild in Band-in-a-Box. Andrew PG Music Inc.
