https://soundcloud.com/sabrinamariamusic/invisible?si=244d9ddd006b4acb8e5d949eea73a32b&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharingI wrote this song called 'Invisible' and produced it using all instruments from Band In A Box. It has been mixed and mastered within GarageBand. Lead and backing vocals are my voice. I wrote this song quite a few years ago, it was primarily to do with my music journey. I put my heart, soul, sweat and tears into each song and there's no support; not even from those closest to me, hence feeling invisible. I'm sure many of you musicians will relate. Previous to Band In A Box, I used session musicians and recorded in a studio, but finances do not allow for that anymore, so these past 4 years I have been on a journey of learning production from start to finish and this year, I have released 4 tracks using BIAB. I am so grateful for this software and although I have been using BIAB for quite a few years, I wasn't aware there was a Forum until I watched a YT video today talking about this software. Please let me know know what you think, but please be kind lol.

WOW! Welcome to the forum, Sabrina Marie. This is sensational, and a great use of BiaB. My granddaughter is here now (she just turned 10) and she loves it. Wonderful vocals. Love the melody and the lyrics.

Welcome to the forum, Sabrina. This is a good song, well thought out, and you have a good and emotional voice. And considering that you had to learn production along the way, your song sounds really good. Well done ...there's no support; not even from those closest to me, hence feeling invisible... Welcome to my world

Welcome, Sabrina! This sounds sensational. Very nice composition and I LOVE (all of) your vocals. You obviously have a talent for arrangement and production, as this is a very fine listen. Looking forward to more! (P.S., there are some tips at the top of the User Showcase forum for how to easily paste your BiaB instrument list into your forum posts. Helps to expand the knowledge of how to best use BiaB.)

Thanks so much! I love recording vocals and particularly coming up with harmonies. I have another song with 6 harmonies :-). I tried to edit the post to add what I used in BIAB, but it won't allow me to until my account has been reviewed for some reason, but thanks for the tip! I shall remember for next time.

Hi, Sabrina. Welcome to the forum! It all sounds great - especially the vocals, which is the most important bit.

It's a good song, Sabrina. IMHO it could be improved with a bit of word trimming. One example: "Free like a bird and finally seen", would sound less rushed without altering the meaning. Well done. Vic

I like that. Yeah, I was mentored once by an American and he said ‘good songwriting cuts out the little words! People understand even with fewer words.’ My newer songs have less ‘little words’.

Hi Sabrina,
Good song and production and excellent vocals.
Lyrics - you could maybe prune these as it sounds a bit cluttered in some of the lines.
Best Regards Nigel

An excellent introduction to what BIAB combined with a great production based on musical self-ownership can deliver.
