Skilled musicians? Yes! Enjoyable and entertaining to watch? Yes! Drumline audio track in a band?

I can't think of an instance in Band-in-a-Box where it would be practical. I love drums, use to play a drum kit professionally and played drums in a high school marching band for fun so I'd like to say +1 but I just can't do it. Fleetwood Mac did use a full college marching band for the song "Tusk" but that's different than a Drumline.

By the way, while not exactly the same thing as a Drumline Band-in-a-Box does include some really nifty Drum and Bass, or DnB, audio loops.
I'd love to hear an audio example of a song where Drumline is part of the song. Prove me wrong and play me a song with Drumline in it and I'll gladly support the wishlist request.

Paul Simon used (the legendary) Steve Gadd in the intro to "50 ways to leave your lover". That worked so incredibly well, so I could see where such drum lines using "RealDrums" could have benefits.

So for me, its a +1

I can see an occasional use for a drumline RT so
+1

Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

Deacon,
Interesting. My guess these would be extremely hard to record live and likely expensive gig too. If you have Kontakt 7 or higher, I suggest looking into their Session Percussionist. You can program some pretty advanced stuff.

Drumline rhythms feature a lot more than some might expect in many modern rock and pop songs, albeit often with some of the frequencies carved out, augmented with effects, and/or layered with other rhythmic elements.

Some examples include:

+1 here also, I've actually thought about trying to go to the local school to record them for certain projects.

/Our local HS has an excellent cadence they have held onto for years.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
