Somehow while trying to understand the soloist process many of the instruments have been replaced by soloists. Not at all sure why but all of the songs I have created will not playback the instruments I created them with, also all new songs instruments now have blank soloists instead. MAC 2024 Build 803, Song example here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/7mu8aheq9xd0twqvdafvg/CTC.SGU?rlkey=hhrxxjla3ibeu9pr65g8rsy9t&dl=0
Ok, I downloaded the .sgu. There are tracks with soloists, no doubt as you recorded them.
I think that you have lost track of your previous recordings. If you look at the bottom of this image, I've circled in red your download and its location. In green is the last file that I created.
Thanks Mike Sorry but Im not understanding your post. Are you saying my songs are in the wrong location..or they no longer exist? Please explain.. I'm new.

This is basic Mac 101. I'm showing you where the files are on my Mac. You need to find where they are on your Mac. If you saved in the Default My Songs folder, then your pathway will be same as mine. If you installed differently, your files will be somewhere else.
In addition, you need to have the correct styles selected when opening a file. I suspect that this is the other part of your problem. Although saved Songs normally open in the Style you used to create it, it's possible to open a song in different styles. Normally, one does this on purpose but it's possible to do this accidentally if you don't understand what is going on.
There is no one sentence answer. A deep dive into the manual and the tutorials is a really good idea. Once you get used to the idea of how it all works, file management will be easy. I would start here and look at the manual and tutorials:
If you have difficulty locating files on your Mac, you are not alone. Although it should be easy to find anything, Apple's filtering often makes this quite difficult.
I use Find Any File from Thomas Tempelmann. It is everything that Finder/Find should be but far better organized and more efficient. Interestingly all of the functionality is built into the macOS—Tempelmann has only written ways to access it better. It's free to try and well worth the $6 shareware fee but I prefer buying it from Apple App Store ($9 I think) so that I get automatic notices of updates. There are a couple other Finder enhancers but this is the one I like best.
Mike, Thanks for your help but I know where all the songs are and I know about loading the correct style. Unfortunately, in my case every style has been modified with most instruments/artists to something titled "j-swing" and no matter what song or style I load those are populated with no real tracks associated with them... so no sound. The drums are fine. Calling/emailing PG music so far has not been successful i have done everything they suggested including uninstalling and reinstalling the product. I'm thinking the drive is corrupted. If you have any ideas about why the j_swing is everywhere Ill surely try any suggestions you have. Thanks much for your interest and suggestions
I'm not a Mac user but I downloaded and opened your SGU file and the current Style in the downloaded SGU is a MultiStyle and it appears the Style is using the default soloists in the style.

I saw the same which prompted my answer. I used to make the same mistakes.
