Nicely put together and that Synth voice is amazing.
About half way through I began wondering what a Glenn Miller orchestra would sound like behind the vocal.

You always need another reverb!

I remember a recent conversation about reverbs on another forum, where the poster said they'd never had a client complain about which reverb they chose.

In this case, I picked the Fame Studio plugin to place the instruments more of a sense of space. I picked the Fame Studio Chamber because it was there, although I probably should have chosen the plate. But I tried not to overthink things. wink

Enjoyed!
Thanks, that's the best I can hope for.

Ha! That would work if I wrote on my guitar. Plus, there are arms on my computer chair, which makes it hard to hold a guitar and watch Monk. wink

What a fun walk. I like the melody, and, of course, you did a fine job on those synth vocals. Well crafted harmonies, too. Very cool fiddle solo. Mix is perfect, and you and your daughter are right: the rhymes are predictable as they should be.
Thanks! I'm glad your ears approve.

I was inordinately pleased with how the fiddle solo turned out, mostly because my first attempts were so miserable. laugh

Nice upbeat country song, catchy melody smile And nice to hear you using vocoflex - would be nice to try it but the registration process... anyway, sounds real enough David to me smile I don't have Netflix, so I can fully concentrate on taking walks and enjoying songwriting laugh

Very upbeat and romantic. A good holding hands with your partner type song. Vocal sounds good. and the edit at 2:37 sounds smooth.

I love reading your writing and production and mixing notes. Like a tiny song creation movie.
Love the sound of the drums and bass together - like they are one instrument.
A Very convincing fiddle solo.

A very pleasant song. Like...eh...taking a walk together.

All that work pays off.

Great job David. Good song and your productions are always magnificently put togehter. Sounds like an incredible amount of work. It takes me MUCH longer to put togehter MUCH more simple. That fiddle part was perfect. It really came out nicely and I've listened to it 3 times so far!

David:

You do this so well . . . clear and compelling production that marries multiple voices in perfect harmony singing along toe-tapping beat and melody. Wonderful listen! Kudos!

First, we love the cover art.

The song is delightful in lyric and sound.
Great fiddle!

Man, what a band and mix.
As we oft mentioned we are fans of open airy mixes with good soundstages.
Your subtle dynamics and mix nuances are great. This has it all.

Interesting harmony and your HIGH skill level shines through on these vocals.

Love the write up and ALL the details.
We had to google Glenn Tilbrook. smile

Excellent,

J&B

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the process, and neither is Dreamtonics. laugh

It doesn't seem be good at cloning voices, but it seems to be useful for getting more variety out of them.

I'm sort of surprised that more people don't add details of what they do.

After all, one of the reasons for listening to songs here is to steal learn new techniques. wink
