Girlfriend

Just for the fun of it.
I am way out of my comfort zone on this one.

BiaB style - Rock Blues - Gritty Medium - slow

Bass - Ample Bass - Ying Yang
Piano - Arturia - B3 - Old 70's Soul
Strings - Arturia - Vox Continental - Vib-Full
Guitar - Quiet Music - Solaris - GTR - Starry Night
Drums - SSD - Deluxe - 60's Rock

I am playing the lead guitar and attempting to sing.
Th lyrics are on SoundCloud

I wanted to be the first to listen to it and give an opinion!!! I see you had a lot of fun with this track! It's fresh, it's pleasant and I like the electric organ. Nice track, Mario!
I wish you and your new girlfriend a great weekend.

Cool vibe Mario - I really like that it's 'real' and 'you' all over it,
'out of your comfort zone' is when results happen - great stuff!!

Getting out of your comfort zone is definitely how you find growth and a lot of cool stuff - but it's a lot easier said than done. Congrats on putting together a fun tune and getting it out in the world!

Oh my...Deflated??? Nice job taking this to the edge and back again. Really tasty, biting guitar work and perfect vocals for the song. Super band and mix, too.

Comfort zones are overrated!

Thanx for the very nice review. Yes I did have a lot of fun with this song but no girlfriend for me. I've been married to long for that!

Thanx Elliott. I had a hard time getting that guitar track down. My arthritic hands are giving me problems so I'm glad you liked it.

Thanx Carl.
Out of my comfort zone means I'm really scared about the responses I may get.

Thanx for listening and commenting, I appreciate it.
Posting songs that are out of my comfort zone is the scary part. Plus I'm really not a good singer.

Thanx Ron. I did have a problem laying down that guitar track as my arthritic fretting hand is giving me problems. Also me and "perfect vocal" is an oxymoron.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Getting our of your comfort zone is a good thing . . . leads to new sounds and new paths. This is a really cool blues tune. Great blues guitar throughout. You’ve done a great job on this one!!

Fun song, Mario! Nice job on the guitar.

Read your comments on arthritis, one of the joys of getting old I guess! I struggle with that sometimes too.

That guitar part was a challenge for these old arthritic hands.

Thanx Dave. I don't mind getting old but this falling apart as I do it sucks!
