This has been an issue for me for some time . When I playback a song that I have entered the chords to, the related chord "voicing" jumps to the next inversion or a lower inversion. Like C the an F is fine but it you add an Em in the progression, the voicing is not natural. It just does not sound right especially if you have a song that has two or three instruments. I've tried to enter a different cord like a relitave minor or major and sometimes it works, but then the bass line may not be what I like. I feel that the avenue is there in the chord builder within the "chord voicing" tab. i.e. first position, second position and third position options.

Topic as old as the hills. BIAB RTs and BIAB midi do not do voicings (i.e., inversions). You can only manually anotate/enter midi and freeze it if you want to specify a chord voicing. Slash chords will but a specifc bass note but that will not necessarily dictate the chord inversion.

Partial regeneration may reveal a more pleasing inversion. Or not. I'll sometimes use Melodyne Studio to change an inversion if needed.
EDIT: I failed to notice that this post is 10 months old. Oops.
