The ultimate girlfriend song.

"I got to find me a new girlfriend One that will stay with me, to the bitter end One who will love me, and not pretend"

Not sure it gets better than that.

Thanx Floyd, I'm glad you liked it.

Wow, what a catch, huh? Glad she's gone. I like Ed's comment on SC --the skillet to the temple one. Excellent guitar --especially like the responses. Can't wait for the sequel --the one where she's hip and not square. Hey, your vocals are always the best. Yeah, maybe we're not great opera singers, but you got the feel, man --and hit all the right notes.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanx so much Marty! I really appreciate the singer remarks as I think I suck as a singer.

Good to hear you playing AND singing. I can hear why the guitar features in your avatar.

Mario,

What a wonderful rock blues song.
The lead guitar and vocals are sophisticated and tasteful.
It may not be in your comfort zone, but it's amazing that you can handle so many genres so well.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

This is fun! Enjoyable blues rock song, I almost let out my air while hearing " One that's full of life, not air", that's hilarious smile Very good, professional guitar playing and that organ is very organic. Nice vocals that fit the bluesy "my girl left" mood perfectly.

Thanx Ray. Singing and processing a vocal track are my weakest points, mostly because I do it so infrequently.

Thanx Shigeki. "but it's amazing that you can handle so many genres", that is because I played in wedding bands for years playing just about every song genre. Consequently I can play, although some better than others, in a lot of different styles but I have mastered none.

I'm glad you stepped out of your zone. This was cool and fun. I dig your guitar chops.

"I got to find me a new girlfriend One that will stay with me, to the bitter end One who will love me, and not pretend"

Well that rather succinctly covers the sentiment in sooooo many tunes of many genres. Cool!
We hope you enjoy steppin' out of your comfort zone as much as we do.

Great guitar and, hey, sing more!

Congratulations on an original and very amusing theme! I think some sound effects like a deflating balloon would have worked well in the mix! laugh The important thing is that song works and will inevitably get a positive response as it can't help but bring a smile.

Some favourite Waoist Adages:

#13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you.
#58: Bring consciousness to it.

#92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Thanx so much for this kind review. I wish I had thought of the deflating balloon, it would have made the perfect effect. Thanx for suggesting that.
