A new year now and I just entered the 70's. That means I'm a grown up now, however some still call me a youngster... That's why I thought to make a song about finding words. As a funny story. Then a friend asked if it was a song about dementia. "No, of course not"! I replied. But I realized that you could think of that when hearing/seeing this song... But see/hear for yourself and stay on the positive side
Hans, first of all this is a great song. If I had heard this song sans the video I could have gotten the dementia idea. But with the video I got the bashful young man gets brain farts when he sees the girl of his dreams theme.
Now if the video was an old man whom occasionally, well actually quite often, has brain farts then you could have used a picture of me

Hi Mario, I just noticed I posted this in the wrong forum. I was in such a hurry, because we had to go to a place for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and I picked this one. Still, I liked your remarks here. I only got confused by the term 'brain farts' in this meaning. But the next time I'll choose you to act like the main character ;-))

A belated Happy Birthday Hans.
I'll have you know that I am the king of "brain farts"

I’d take the approach of the funny part, leaning into the wordplay and the lightheartedness will add to that. That just gives it more charm if people interpret it differently. Play to the humor, it’s a strength!

I wanted to start this year with a lighter song. Reading your story, I think I have succeeded. I don't want to make a 'funny'story', just an easy one. I fear this year will give me more 'inspiration' for sad songs... Thanks for thinking with me and giving this advise,
