This is another song from my archives. I first started ‘My Home’ a number of years ago. Just recently, I re-discovered it and thought I’d see what I could do with the latest version of BIAB and some vocals with the Synthesizer-V vocaloids. This is where that thought took me. ♫ My HomeLyrics on SoundcloudI hope you enjoy listening. Please feel free to comment on any aspect of the song and its production. --Noel BIAB Band• Bass: 1536 Bass, Electric, PopBelieve Ev16 065 • Piano: 1602 Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm Pop16 Ev16 065 • Guitar: 1596 Guitar, Acoustic, Strumming Pop16ths Ev16 065 • Guitar: VG-SPARKLE2 (UJAM), VSTi (MIDI) • Organ: Collab B3, VSTi (MIDI) • Arpeggiator: Synthmaster 3, VSTi (MIDI) • RealDrums: NashvilleEven16^5-HiHat,Ride • Vocals: Synth V, vocaloids Kevin (lead) and Solaria (harmony). Noel,
You write such beautiful music...
This is an excellent ballad. Love the arrangement and how you have used the Synth V voices. So natural and emotive. A real accomplishment.
The mix is also outstanding. Big and clear with excellent separation.
As always, I thoroughly enjoy your songs.
Bob

Excellent work Noel. Again I miss YOUR voice but the synth one has your phrasing and gives a sense of you.

Noel, super save from the archive! Very nice BiaB arrangement and mix. The vocals have a lot of pleasing dynamics in the 2nd half that really give the song a lift. Very finely crafted all the way around!

Bob Hi Bob. Thanks heaps once again for taking time out to listen to my work. I really appreciate it. Thanks for your comments, too. I think I'm finally getting the hang of Synth V. All the best, --Noel

Trust me, Kevin sings much, much better than I do. That said, I promise that the next time I post a song, I'll do the singing. At the moment, I'm putting the finishing touches on a song about a tree. Given the speed at which I work, it will probably be a couple of months before I finish it. You'll get to hear it eventually, though. Thanks for dropping in! --Noel

Noel, this song has all the warmth and humanity I have come to associate with your songs. So beautiful, full of emotion ... I love it. Kevin is a great choice for this song, though, like Ray said, I do miss your own voice The lyrics are absolutely stunning, of course ... wow. Thank you for sharing this really, really beautiful song with us!

Wow, that's a great piece of music! I even like Kevin! I wrote a song by the same title once, but yours is more of a journey making home all the more precious.

Oh, Noel, keep thinking like that. This one brought your thought to a sensational reality. Cool harmony and a truely glorious sentament. Your home patiently waits. Just such a fine piece of music.

Captivating gentle melody. Synth voice sounds good, although I like yours too. Good choice for the piano. Production is clean and builds well.

A good re-do, Noel. Sounds like Kevin is covering Noel (and imitating him). fj
