Rabbits - Rough Cut This song came to me really fast, about 8 hours to complete. This is a rough cut as I am going up to the mountains tomorrow, Sept. 18, and I'll be there a little over a week with little or no Internet. So I thought that I would post this and ask for help on the vocals. Hopefully today I will get a chance to listen to some of your songs, thus far life has gotten in my way. If I don't listen to many today I will try to catch up in a week or so. I am playing the guitar parts as well BiaB Style - Heavy Rock Style I deleted the guitar track Bass- Ample Bass - YingYang Drums - BiaB MIDI - U-Jam sounds - Kit - Solid Soft/Big Utility track - Arturia - B3 PS - I hope you like the humor in this one. The lyrics are on SoundCloud.
Today I bought a doughnut without the sprinkles. Diets are hard!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
Didn't see that coming...nice set up to a GREAT punchline. Funny, I was just thinking the same thing, just...not with the rabbits.
A week in the mountains without internet sound heavenly. Look out for the rabbits, they can be a humorless bunch.
This is Ron, and I approve (of) this message...

Mario...I love it...a song for the day for sure...it is amazing how many quality songwriters on on this forum and the abundance of music that has been produced...nice observation my friend and clever way to get there!

Bwaahahahahahah!!!! That is too funny! I really appreciate the mind that could create this little unexpected romp. They do say laughter is the best medicine, so thank you for my bedtime dose.

I was thinking the same thing a few weeks ago Mario.
You hit the nail on the head about rabbits. I found out soon after I had bought two certified does locally. The owner should have been certified.
An enjoyable listen though.

The classic rabbit and their ability to exponentially reproduce. Someone had to write it and I'm glad it was you, Mario! Thanks for the laugh, my friend!
Hope you had a great getaway!

Hi, Mario. Heh... the thought occurred to me at the start of the song... Nicely done! And now I know how to pronounce your name - I've been reading it wrong all these years!

Hi Mario. Wow!!!! This is so different from what I'm used to hearing from you. I love your sense of humour, and I loved the way you set up 'productive rabbits' as a metaphor for 'productive songwriting.' That's quite a literary twist that I didn't see coming. It's great to hear you singing Don't stop writing now! There has to be a sequel to this... a "Season 2" version! Regards, --Noel

Hi Mario,
Well, almost everyone wholeheartedly agrees with the message in your lyrics. Great! And what makes it even greater. I too agree with it. Maybe we have to blame BiaB for this; it made us so creative...
And it's nice to hear you singing (again). Don't change those lyrics, but maybe try a little variation in singing, like ending a line sometimes high instead of going low. Hope your internet problems are over by now!
Hans

LOUDER! That's all I'll shout at you about the vocal, Mario. Hopefully you'll having a great tie in the mountains and the mountains are having a great time with you. Ah, a song about the Fibonacci Sequesence in motion. EXCELLENT LYRICS --okay, I had to shout that too. Message recieved and also approved.

Love this vocal departure from the usual. The chord structure is excellent and makes for a really good rock track. I tried to come up with a rabbit pun, but while only a hare's breadth away from one it suddenly stopped, looked at its pocket watch and then hopped off shouting "I'm late!" … Bizarre. … Which I'm oddly totally pro.
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Very funny story I surely like the humor, you can switch from a serious soundtrack mood to the straight humorous rock'n'roll just like that and still they "are better than anything on the radio today". Songs grow in the BIAB trees in different sizes and colors and are always ready to pick up, superfood for us I enjoy to hear your singing. Very nice LoFi production. Nice guitar playing. The drum intro is catchy like running rabbits and the organ roars like a lion. Reminded me of the movie "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" Janne

First thanx to everyone whom listened and commented. I appreciate all of you. Second I'm back from the mountains but tomorrow I have to go to a wedding. It also is a very busy time for me and probably the best I can do listening wise would be in the middle of next week. I know I will miss some of your songs but I will do the best that I can in catching up. I was gone for a little over a week and the rabbits went crazy
