Interesting story with a historical feel, the dark mood is built nicely around the rhythm.

I love Marty's bass line, it is perfect for this tight rhythm. Dave's "whisky" voice has really enjoyable bass tone. I wonder can I get overdose of Dave's guitar, but what can you do when you are an addict wink Good that the mix is not muddy, but clear and powerful in every detail.

Hi, Dave.

Those drums really crack. Once the song gets the groove going, it doesn't give up.

Vocals work nicely with the style, and that guitar burns.

Everything works here - love those harmonics, too! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Cool lyric with a hit of Fogerty vibe.
And over all a "later years" Tony Joe vibe albeit w/o the whomper stomper. smile

We enjoyed the smoky vocal and the very cool licks by Marty.
No surprise but, hey, superb guitar in tone and chops!
Great drums and we thought the organ well added to the mood.

Enjoyed the audio and vid,

J&B

What a cool vocal performance - I love it.
The guitar and bass are of your usual high standard, but like I said, your vocals and the general dirty, raw vibe make the song special.
More of this stuff please!

Really excellent song and production. The rhythm section chugs it along and your solo guitar work is perfect.

Dave,

What a spectacular sound!
You are the master of arranging and producing.
By every measure, this is exceptional.
You, Kathy and Marty have created something amazing here.
And those vocals... wow!
Writing, arranging, singing, mixing, producing... this is top quality all the way!
